“Welcome class, I’m your HACKING professor…”

hacker.jpg

Finally a really cool course worth considering. A university in Scotland has applied to start teaching students how to hack computers. The university claims that they will only teach “Ethical hacking”, so that in the future, the students could advise companies on how to protect against malicious hackers.

The students will also have to pass through a Government organized screening process, in order to assess whether one might use one’s future knowledge for evil motivations. [link]

Not much different from other schools that have masters and undergrads in IT security. http://www.uoit.ca has a very similar program.
