Put that OSX Tiger install on ice

fridge

Apparently the heat build-up, in combination with outside humidity, prevented this installation run of OSX Tiger from completing successfully. That is, until the MacBook Pro was placed in the fridge to cool down during the installation process.

Mine doesn’t even get hot gaming in windows… I’m not sure if people are just fussy or what… Even the service center I work at sees some ‘hot’ ones that are warm at best…

Hope I won’t have any heating problems when mine arrives. I’m sure Apple has solved the problem by now.

On my Athlon Desktop (w/2 fans and a heatsink) I had to put an Icepack (wrapped in cloth) inside the tower when I burned cds, the processor would overheat from the excess heat put out by the burner if I didn’t. As such, this doesn’t seem to foriegn to me.
