Pukka – The OSX del.icio.us utility

It isn’t very often that I stumble upon a piece of “pay-for” software that I feel inclined to recommend to any and all users that I can reach out to. Pukka by Code Sorcery just so happens to be one of those elusive bits of software.
Anyone who uses del.icio.us on a daily basis in unison with their daily browsing on OSX should definitely check out this small piece of software. I’ve been running this application for the past two weeks and have a difficult time imagining social bookmarking without.
As a small stand-alone application, Pukka syncs its tags database with that of your own allowing for auto-complete tagging. In addition, Pukka users can manage multiple del.icio.us accounts from the same window. Sending bookmarks to specific accounts is handled by a simple drop down menu.
If your del.icio.us posting habits are beginning to wane, take a few days to demo the app to decide if it’s worth your while. I find myself documenting each bookmarked site as though I were creating small mini blog posts thanks to this kick-ass utility.
Note that UNEASYsilence is in no way affiliated with Code Sorcery. I am simply taking the time to recommend a quality piece of software that just so happens to work beyond expectations.
