Extortr – Blackmail your enemies online

Do you have some less than flattering content or dirt on one of your enemies? Why not make use of Extortr for all your blackmailing needs?

First of all, congratulations! You’re being blackmailed using the most technologically advanced extortion service in the world, Extortr. If you haven’t already, you should go to the web address in the email you were sent, to check that the photo or video that we have is genuine. If it’s not, lucky you â€â€? you can let the timer next to it expire witout worry. If it is genuine, we recommend clicking on the “Pay Now” button as soon as possible in order to make sure that the material stays private.

The principle is simple:

  • Collect some dirt on an enemie (videos, images, etc.)
  • Upload the content to Extortr and outline the premise of the threat.
  • Notify the intended blackmailee of the threat and the price that should be paid.
  • If the price is not paid, the content is published to the net via Extortr.

Not to be taken seriously… I think? Browse through some of the latest blackmailing examples and decide for yourself. Based on the FAQ, I have a feeling that this is legit and has the potential of hurting quite a number of individuals. Is there anyone with experience that can comment on the legalities of such a service.

    It’s funny!

    Definintely seems like a joke to me, since it’s authored by “Tom,” whose web page includes humorous (skiing penguin, etc), games (Flash games based on UK trivia) and useful (software to install free ringtones) stuff.

    Seem like the “This isn’t actually a genuine web site. It’s just a joke” at the bottom of the page might indicate pretty strongly that it is intended for humour. And stop making fun of Moncton, eh.

    Yes, I agree that if only I had read to the bottom of the page, I wouldn’t have investigated further.

    You seem to have missed my point–are you Canadian?–I wasn’t making fun of Moncton, I was making fun of fat people wearing spandex.

    Oh, and while I couldn’t keep myself from making a little Canada joke at your expense, don’t take it the wrong way, I absolutely LOVE Canada and most of its people, my fingers just couldn’t resist it.

    Is this site for real?
    No. It’s a joke that’s already been dragged out way too far for its own good.
    Where are the pictures from?
    They were all released “for any use” at stock.xchng. No-one’s really being blackmailed.

    Almost believed it ;).

    Sorry to run on about this, but it IS a funny site, and I just decided to TRY to blackmail a pal. Filling out the form was very entertaining, although for some reason (hmm, maybe a legal one?), you can’t actually do it…if you don’t get the joke by then, they inform you even more clearly than the “It’s just a joke” at the bottom of every page might.
