Ant World Cup

The FIFA World Cup is know to bring nations together in very special atmosphere. We all remember the monumental match between the USA and Iran

It seems that the joyful competition will be leaving more than people battling it out face to face for the honour of best footballing nation.

Ants will be fighting for the cup in this special millimetrical challange. 11 ants on each side with team colour coded heads will be running around trying to shove the 1cm ball in to the other side’s net. The pitch is actually smaller then an A4 sheet. More information and photos here.

The photos are quite an eyefull. Don’t expect any throw-ins or amazing one touch football here. What about the rules? Are the ants allowed to use their feelers? I doubt they’ll show this legue on Eurosport, since it’s such a TINY *groan* championship. :)
