Yesterday we posted about a method for shutting down Windows XP remotely via SMS. Today we have a yet another option for shutting down Windows remotely using SMS, Google Calendar, and Google Desktop 4. Don’t let the increased number of requirements fool you into thinking this method is more complicated.

The advantage to using this updated alternative is the ability to schedule remote shutdowns.
