Perfect attendance through Kindergarten

Talk about being teachers pet. I think I have a pretty damn good streak if I can make it through a month without missing a single class.

Dakota Ridge High School senior Janel Barnes has attended class every day since she was in kindergarten. It’s a record she says some of her friends don’t understand.

I can’t imagine making it through my entire tenure as a student without missing a single class. You can’t argue that this feat is nothing but amazing.

What’s your best academic streak?

    There was a kid in my school who did that. He liked trains. I don’t know if there’s a connection, but I’m pretty sure he was a Cylon.

    yeah, kid at my high school did that too. He wore sweatpants all the way through middle school, and then jeans all the way through high school. he was normal other than that…

    I didn’t make it through a single college class with perfect attendance, let alone an entire school year. Be one with the absence.

    The title was kind of ambiguous. It should have been, “Perfect Attendance Since Kindergarten” or “Perfect Attendance Kindergarten Through High School.” Perfect Attendance through Kindergarten sounds like she didn’t miss a day of kindergarten, which isn’t that big of a deal.
