Mountain bikes and volcanoes, what could go wrong?

Talk about insanity. Mountain biking down the side of a volcano at speeds that unheard of on a dinky little bicycle. See what happens when you use a “high performance” mountain bike to ride down a volcano?

    Yeah, this has been around for a while. He knew what he was getting into…at those speeds the tiniest bumps can cause big problems.

    jeezus, my dad had an accident like that a few years ago, mind you he wasn’t goin 172 km/hr but he was still going down an asphalt hill way to fast. Hit a pothole and flipped over. he broke a few ribs and had to have his jaw wired shut for quite some time. Surprised this guy made it out alive.
