Google Notebook – Annotate the web with Google

google notebook

Google Notebook is now available assuming you’ve got your Google Account credentials in order. Google’s latest Lab offering by the name of Notebook allows users to collect text snippets and images from websites to add to personal notebooks accessible from any terminal online.

I’ve taken the service for a spin using the official Google Notebook Firefox extension and admit a that the service will be quite a convenience for internet users. More specifically, students conducting research online may find Google’s Notebook – and the ability to create multiple notebooks based on topics – a valuable research tool that allows snippets of text to be saved rather than entire web pages.
