Walmart gets a Facelift

Everything is not so happy in Walmartville. The biggest complaint they receive is how shoddy their shopping experience is. Never mind you their labor practices – Damn the torpedoes, I need my $1.69 tee shirt.

I’m sure the millions on this remodel are well spent. With new blingy interiors maybe the customers will not notice the underpaid employees forced to work nearly illegal hours (oh and the undocumented illegals as well).

UH – I’m sure Wamart is prepping the battle ship and dispatching it up the East River in NYC to hunt me down…….. Er, lets play nice – UNEASYsilence <3 Walmart (Don’t tell them we are lying or the smiley face will eat our children)

    Looks much better than what it did when I was last in one in 1999. It was more just clutter then. Now it has organisation, more like an apple store.

    this is just too crazy….
    and i hate walmart, there are none by me, but where i go to school there is one, and ive been to it, and its scary there.

    I bet those “hardwood” floor are cheaper than fake wood linoleum floors. Unless, Wal-mart is using real wood floors and having employees on their hands and knees scrubbing at the end of their shifts.

    Oversized signs? All they need next is an illuminated store directory by the front kiosk and Wal-Mart is it’s own mall!

    lots of wal-marts are trying to be better looking, I guess the new one their building in South Everett is going to look alot nicer and they even have a new PDA powered system for cash register overrides and stuff.

    I can find out tomorrow if their putting in real wood floors but I bet they are more likely than not laminate wood flooring if not just wood looking tile.

    hmm like Justin said Wal-Mart is almost it’s own mall. well, here in Los Angeles we have a 3 story Wal-Mart that is actually attached to a large shoping mall, like if it was a department store like Sears. There is a shoping cart escalator that runs on the side of normal escalators, kind of like some IKEAs
