Snippet: Africa shows us no love

In the almost two years Derek and I have ran UNEASYsilence, we have never received one hit from Africa. Whats up with that?! If you are from Africa and want to prove my stat software wrong (which it is 90% of the time anyway), post something in the comments, we would love to hear for you!

    Hey There!
    I am from Mozambique, Africa… Just dropping by to let you know that there is no hate business going on here, we sure love you. Problems is that we Africans can’t afford computers at all, most retailers here rip us off. I am the only one in our community with a 486 IBMPC. Me and the rest of my friends are anxiously waiting for the $100 Laptops that MIT was supposed to bring. We sincerely dont mind cranking it for 2 hours daily.

    Ok, everything besides the first two sentences is crap. hehe. I am from Africa and I do visit this site every once or twice a week or so. I dont know why Urchin (I suppose that’s your stats software) is not showing any african hits.

    Hi…

    to Abdul Mueld mainly… It’s too sad to hear that people there cannot afford computers, while we are sending most of our “old” PCs to the garbage… So, now I’m trying to find out an unexpensive way to get rid of a Pentium II and a 486/33… If anybody can find any way to send those to these people… well, maybe we will be able to see africans hits growing…

    I’m now writing from Madrid, Spain… so Africa is not that far.
