It works! Airport works as well!

crushed powerbook

No real description or explanation needed. The image speaks for itself. Obviously this once pristine Powerbook suffered a minor mishap resulting in its crushed state. Despite the obvious damage, the system runs as it should. Who’s got an extra Dell 700m lying around that’s interested in stress testing their hardware in comparison? #

    rough.

guess that goes to show how well these things are constructed, or how lucky that guy/girl was.

in other news; mac fanboys/girls all over the world cry out in pain after seeing this image…

No explanation needed? I disagree; I’m curious what happened to cause this situation. Did it suffer a haphazard drop to the floor or was it intentionally crushed by some mean Mac-hating giant?

id say it something closer to getting ran over by a car. either way that is amazing that it works.

How would I do it? I’m ready to try? I’m using a G5 iMac .

according to the owner it was run over by a Hummer. and on the forum on the original site, there are about a dozen people who have run over their iBooks with cars…seriously, Who Does That!?!?

  • Simon

I had no idea that they were that strong.

This person can afford a Hummer and an Apple laptop, but not an Apple screen? Why are they using an Acer FP with this?! When it comes to LCD’s, there’s Apple, and there’s everyone else.

Anyway, with the warping, I was going to say it looks like heat damage, but I suppose it could be the tire of a 3 ton SUV…?
