Google Calendars is now LIVE!
It’s early, but I still have some time to spread word that Google Calendars is now live. Point your browser to http://calendar.google.com and login with your current Google account credentials.

From the get-go I can already attest to the competitive spirit of the Google Calendar team. From the similar simplicity of that found in Gmail to the subtle use of AJAX, Google Calendars will be a worthy force in the web based calendar arena.
One detail – which 30Boxes makes use of – is the ability to add events to your calendar in the form of “dinner next monday 7pm” rather than dinner monday ‘xx’ date etc”. Fuzzy calendar items. Adding an event allows users to include friends or family memebers creating that oh so cherished “sharing” feeling. Even more convenient is the ability to create multiple calendars with options for privacy or sharing.
I don’t know about you, but I think I’ve found myself a new web based calendar service. Check out the help center for more details on iCal and Outlook compatibility, or check out the Google Tour for a features run down.
