iMac G5 – Rest in peace… We’ll miss you

Apple officially announced the end of the iMac G5.

If you have made a pre-order of the product, Apple warns that all outstanding orders “for which no stock is available” will be cancelled. The company isn’t automatically revising existing orders to the new Intel-powered iMacs.

The fact that outstanding orders will be cancelled will be a major bummer for a lot of computers. No hurt really. I hear the iMac MacTels are blazing.

    sire: the imac g5′s are being decommisioned to make room for tor the intel powered imacs.
