Email tax is a go – Thirty days and counting
A plan by AOL and Yahoo to charge mass e-mailers a fee for guaranteed delivery of messages to subscribers has run into very vocal opposition from a consortium of nonprofit and public interest groups, including MoveOn.org Civic Action, the AFL-CIO, Gun Owners of America and the Electronic Frontier Foundation.
Number one: I like how the gun owners of America are involved in this. Number two: I don’t know how this will prevent Spam, all this does is give spammers a guarantee that their mail will be delivered in your inbox if they pay. Number three: What if you subscribe to small mailing lists that can’t pay, they just get lost in the shuffle.
This is BUNK!
