Don’t you think about whipping it out

California courts have deemed public urination illegal.

My favorite line from the article: It ‘interferes with comfortable enjoyment of life and property’. This of course limited to California. I’m sure something like this will eventually spread across the United States.

That’s just plain bullshit. I’m sorry, but U.S. law was never meant to ensure “comfortable enjoyment” of anything. So many people today act like the law is there to ensure that things as vague and stupid as “happiness” are protected.

If states continue to enact such flagrantly poor laws, we’ll be heading further down the path of diminished personal freedom v. state dominance over our lives.

Yeah, I think this kind of thing is plain stupid.
Thank god I live in Australia where people could care less if you ‘really have to go’ or not. Of course, If you’re drunk and doing it in a very public area then you’ll get in trouble, but as long as you find a secluded tree or something you’re all good.

A friend of mine was sprung urinating in a back lane by the police and was charged with Indecent Exposure! Only other people in sight were his friends waiting at the other end of the lane for him to finish. He had to go quietly because of the 2 ounces of weed in his coat pocket that the police didn’t find. Oh, yes… Australia in the ’80s.

This is totally ridiculous… how does this protect *MY* happiness of taking a leak when getting out of the bar piss drunk @ 3am??? Really is there anything worst than being totally drunk off your ass and not being able to take a wiz? When that happens I’m definitely not a happy camper… I want my right to take a leak protected by the constitution. Seriously, what is more human, the disgust of seeing some pee in an alley or the need to take a leak in not always “proper” places? Don’t take me wrong, I don’t think having public leaks is something everyone should encourage, nor is it something nice… but really this law is completely against human nature. I pity those who can’t stand the sight of a bit of wiz, you guys never look down the toilet or you guys just never take leaks?

A couple of buddies of mine took a leak in an alley a few years ago… no big deal right… until they realized that the wall they used in the alley was attached to a church!! I’m not the religious type, but even I think that’s wrong! lol
