What chu talking about Nigga

The actor Damon Wayans has been engaged in a 14-month fight to trademark the term “Nigga” for a clothing line and retail store, a search of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s online database reveals.

That sounds weird coming form possibly the whitest white person in NY. But do you feel that Damon should be entitled to trademark the word Nigga – with all its connotations?

    On the Showtime series Barbershop, there was an episode, in fact the first episode, where a store called “Niggas” was coming to town, and was actually run by an asian family, kinda like all of the little mini marts in black neighborhoods.
    There is a huge difference between, the redneck , white supremicist, use of the word NIGGER and the hip hop, brotherly love use of the word NIGGA. Everywhite kid in America with a 50 cent album uses the word Nigga, but would not use the word NIGGAR. The radio might edit the word but kids arent .
    Just my opinion.
