Backup backup backup!

Word on the net is that tomorrow, February 3rd, internet users around the globe are going to fall victim to some sort of super worm [Kama Sutra].

That’s when the Kama Sutra computer worm will begin destroying critical files on infected computers. And hundreds of thousands of machines may have the worm lurking within their Windows operating system, ready to be unleashed on February 3 and the third of every month thereafter.

If you haven’t made an updated backup of your important files, I think it’s about time to do that right now. Backup to an external drive, burn data CDs, hand scrawl your text documents with pen and paper, then lock that ‘ish in a vault in your closet.

    However, I do think this is being exhaggerated. I doubt the damage will be colossal.. Plus, I never open emails promising me sexy content..

    I completely lack important files. :) Oh and I lack a windows OS, so i guess i’m immune to it on two counts :D

    Well, I don’t open any untrusted emails, and use Firefox, and have Norton, so, I feel pretty safe…but you never know…
