TorPark – Anonymity on a Flash drive

tor

Make sure you read through our great Tor tutorial thrown together by Dan: How-To: Free Tool Makes You Anonymous and UNTRACEABLE on the Web. Fortunately, the same security can be taken with you in your pocket [via Flash thumbdrive].

Download TorPark for your language, and put it on a USB Flash keychain. Plug it into any internet terminal whether at home, school, or public. Run Torpark.exe and it will launch a Tor circuit connection, which creates an encrypted tunnel from your computer indirectly to a Tor exit computer, giving the appearance of having the Tor exit computer’s IP.

Grab your copy now and load it on to your iPod, jumpdrive, pocket hd, or whatever you utilize for transporting personal files back and forth between your personal and public / school / work computers.

LoL worked pretty good on me.
Got me an IP from Germany when I went to countrycheck.com (and it’s pretty damm far from where I live, believe it lol)

Seems to work, unless the Netherlands is a codename for where I really live.

while the added security of the tor network sounds appealing, i hate the fact that some users are abusing the system for p2p applications. thankfully, i can carry my laptop around with me anywhere. the rare rare chances when i have to use a public computer (for times when wifi is non-existant) are times when i whip out “tor’s thumb”.

[...] I can’t stress more then ever that you should be using TOR. There is no excuse now that it runs on a Flash Drive. [...]
