I gave my newborn son an email address so that when he was old enough to read he would have years and years of quaint spam and advertisment to wade through. [And he could use his allowance to assist Nigerian civil servants. -- Ed.]
Will we eventually see the day when birth certificates are handed out alongside a standard email address, blog address, and username for some social networking service which our children are automatically registered for as soon as the first breath is taken?
