WiGLE provides users with a graphical map which displays current open and closed wireless networks throughout the world. The data is maintained by individuals who upload their broadcasting information, or information they’ve captured while “war-driving / war-walking”. 5,000,000 located networks located thus far. As you can see, walking through downtown Seattle is like walking through a wireless soup.
