Airtight Interactive – Simple Image Search

Airtight Industries (also known for Simple View) has unveiled a slick new method for searching for images on the net via Yahoo by the name of ‘Simple Image Search’.

1. One-page interface – less scrolling and clicking ‘Back’ in the browser.
2. Pre-fetching of multiple images – saves time. As each thumbnail is displayed, the full-size image is loaded in the background.
3. Dead image links are flagged – avoids fruitless clicking.
4. Easy thumbnail navigation – use mouse, mouse scrollwheel or keyboard (arrow keys, Home, End, Page Up, Page Down).
5. Simplified interface – removes unnecessary informational clutter.

The Flash based image viewer provides users with a single page interface to search, preview, and explore images from around the net.
