Mac Mondays: The Next iPod Shuffle

The iPod Shuffle has been in the wild for almost a year and is still selling well in the top 3 of Amazon’s top selling electronics list. Apple has issued software updates, dropped the price and the little flash based player is selling well in all age groups. First time buyers, long time iPod owners and those that are just uncomfortable with digital music can justify a 100 dollar investment and not feel bad while taking their delve in the iPod generation. The iPod shuffle has broken the record for being the first player to go this long without a refresh and I have a feeling Apple is working on something great that will wow those of us that own iPods and just don’t see a need for a shuffle.
