A little bird in the sky dropped the following link into our laps. Download and test the latest beta release of Windows Live Messenger. Now we can all be official beta “testers”. Looks slick.

    well I downloaded it and installed it but i am not in the beta so it will not let me sign in. I had to uninstall and install 7.5 again.

    Supposedly if you install this file, it will let those of you not in the beta run the program.

    Yeah, doesn’t work. Forced a messenger update and still won’t allow login.

    can also confirm that the patch is a dud. forced update after attempting to run the downgraded version.

    The patch works like a dream, but since it emulates a proxy you have to let it run while using the beta. DO NOT CLOSE the tiny window.

    That patch mentioned above, works, but i think it forgoes some features of MSN 8. There is no option to do the video chats, the phone chats, share music togethor and so on. Its just the MSN 8 looks thats been pasted on to the MSN 7.5 version.

    I installed MSN Live Beta and installed the downgrader when the main MSN box was showing. Works perfectly fine.

    BUT KEEP THE PROXY BOX OPEN AT ALL TIMES. YOU CLOSE IT, IT WILL THEN DISCONNECT YOU FROM MSN MESSENGER.

    I’ve noticed alot of people want invites. If you want an invite email me at twiztid.killa (at) gmail.com – I will send you an invite. Make sure you put in the SUBJECT “MSN 8 Live Invite” or it will goto spam. :)

    man you guys are SLOW, you dont need no invite, once you download it and try sign in, click the help button once the error sign comes up (denying your access) there it will give you links in changing your account to live beta abilities.
