GSM User? Control when your voicemail picks up!

Any frequent reader to this site knows how much I LOVE GSM. None the less, this is a cool trick:

* Get into the phone application and dial *#62# and hit talk. This will give you the voicemail number your phone uses (i.e. +1206XXXXXXX). Write this down.

* Then dial *61*1XXXXXXXXXX**tt# where the Xs is your 10 digit voicemail number and tt is the time (in seconds) you want it to ring before voicemail picks up. Hit talk.

* Test it out by calling your phone from another phone.

    Interesting…

First number worked and gave me the voicemail number (T-Mob pocket pc phone edition), second number gives “Command not supported.”
