FIRECAT – Domesticate the web

Firecat first emerged on my weblogsite, in a not-so-dead-serious article about Mozilla’s Firefox (an outstanding alternative to Microsoft Internet Explorer). It was about the affinity of their heraldic animal and my own garfieldish animal. People seemed to like the idea, the article’s image has spread across the net and has led me to this Firecat idea. #

I admit that I find the FIRECAT icon and wallpaper set slightly amusing. I’m thinking that a less realistic feline as the mascot would be a little more appealing to the masses.
