Update: Personal Ad contest

A few weeks back I posted a story / contest about a personal ads. It was simple really. Create your own version of a lame yet humorous personal ad. The winner would be selected based on the effort and creativity. Or whatever ad would make me stand back and say “wow… this person is lame”. But not in a demoralizing, mean, obnoxious way.

And the lame personal ad winner is…. a Mr. Ronald who took the time to create an actual collage of sorts to prove his worth.

I mentioned that the prize would be chosen randomly. I changed my mind and decided to let the winner decide which item s/he preferred. Prize choices included: a 256MB thumbdrive, a “My mom thinks I’m cool t-shirt”, or a $50 gift certificate to Threadless. Please respond to the notification email within 14 days to claim your prize.

    Hey, it’s Mr. I-can’t-see-the-images again…

    When I click the image it opens up http://www.uneasysilence.com/?page_id=2579 which in turn is a good ‘ol 404. Any advice on how to remove this would be well appriciated.

    And you’re not behind a Firewall of any sort? If you want to post in the forums you’re more then welcome. I think we’ve had a few members with previous firewall / router issues.
