Revealicious – Flash.ilicious for del.icio.us

There area handful of snazzy services on the web that make use of the del.icio.us API. Revealicious is one of them. It’s unique, informative, and entertaining. Wow. I can’t believe I’m using those three descriptive words with a bookmark visualizer.

Revealicious is a Flash based visualization mashup which allows you to “browse, search, and select tags”. What’s that mean? It means you get to peruse your del.icio.us bookmarks through a visually pleasing interface. Use any of the three following methods to browse your marks:

// SpaceNav (demo), which allows you to explore the structure of your tags in a rather recreative manner.
// TagsCloud (demo), which is an interactive and enhanced version of the tagscloud available in del.icio.us
// Grouper (demo), which is an experimental interface for grouping and working with tags.

I may be swayed towards this particular del.icio.us tool because of it’s color scheme (blue, grey, and white). If the Flash interface doesn’t suit you, consider the del.icio.us AJAX client.

Try It

I accidently found one this afternoon that was another one. These are poping up like crazt, it’s almost sad because each gives no credit that can easily be seen given to del.icio.us

Credit to del.icio.us? All of these mashups make it clear that they use the del.icio.us API. I don’t think there needs to be any other proof that del.icio.us is the core of these services.
