It prepares you for the fall

Back in early August a man by the name of David Jin concocted a crazy idea to create a glass skywalk over the Grand Canyon. It turns out that there were people crazy enough to finance such a project. Come January, the Hualapai Tribe will open a tourist destination complete with a horseshoe shaped glass skywalk.

The horseshoe-shaped skywalk, expected to open in January, is part of the Hualapai Tribe’s $40 million effort to turn 1,000 acres of reservation land into a tourist destination that will also feature an Indian village and Western-themed town. I say it’s a whole new experience to test your faith in God. Will the bridge – claimed to support 72 million pounds – really hold that next bus load of Dorito chompin’ tourists while you look between your legs?

Has anyone walked across the Capilano Suspension Bridge [Canada]? I swear it took me 15 minutes to inch across. Obviously I have a problem with heights. It could have been because of the asshats who thought it would be funny to make the bridge sway like a teeter tot. I’d probably piss my pants and cry like a baby on this glass skywalk.
