iPod Nano – 1,000 songs in a midget iPod

Well Apple announced it. It wasn’t as sexy as the mockup that I had seen floating around the net. Nonetheless, it is sexy. It looks like your normal iPod shrunk down to a size no thicker than a #2 pencil.

The Nano comes in a 2GB & 4GB [both flash based] version starting at $199.

While you’re on Apple.com you might as well download a copy of iTunes 5. Apple cleaned up the interface a little bit and added some sort of parental control feature. Boo.

yup it looks very very nice but again cost is a factor for me £179 for what I would need and for another £30 I can get 20GB.

But it looks good and I didn’t know it was going to be flash based.

and it comes in black, very cool. although i do miss the blue and green ipod mini’s

  • hessam

are they getting rid of mini’s?

Yes the mini’s are gone. I’m sure if you look hard enough you can find them on closeout from a few retailers trying to move them out.

Does the black Nano mean a possible sleek black Powerbook? I think so…

  • hessam
