How-to: Bypass the non-free email registration requirement

How many times have you run into the “we do not allow new registration to users utilizing free email services” error message? Or something similar? I can think of a handful of internet services which do not allow new registrations using free email services such as Hotmail, Yahoo, and Gmail. eBay is a good example. I had to figure out what my ISP email username and password was in order to register for a new account.

If you have a Gmail account you can bypass those pesky requirements. Go ahead and register as you normally would. Instead of trying to find your ISP address, enter yourusername@googlemail.com. Most of these web services do not have googlemail in their filters allowing you to register without having to find a paid email address. Try it out. Your mail will find its way back into your normal @gmail.com inbox. Thanks Todd

Someone mentioned that disposable email addresses like dodgeit are a good alternative. Unfortunately most of these web services have smartened up and added said services to the blocked list.
