10 years of free Dish programming

The catch is that your entire municipality must agree to permanently change its name to ‘Dish’.

DISH Network is introducing the DISH City Makeover, an opportunity for every household in a participating city or town to receive a complete satellite TV system, including free TV programming, for 10 years. In turn, the town must agree officially to change its name to “DISH.”

I find this quite humorous. How many of our readers actually subscribe to the Dish network?

i have had dish for about 2 years now… i love it… got a total of 3 dvrs one 2-tuner and one single tuner, and one hd from them. All free with service… can’t complain.. there is no Current TV yet.. don’t know if that a good or bad thing

It seems like Dish services are always giving away freebies.. That’s one of the advantages I can see with switching from cable. The only reason that keeps me from switching is that I already pay for high speed internet through Comcast.

Dish for a year now. Replaced DirecTV.

Very happy but live in a rural area so no town to convince about whoring itself out…

    Funny, though.

I live in a town with one cable company. The anti-satellite ads they make are so pathetic that they’re hilarious. :P
