The carnage of Google ranking and N. Holloway
I found this little bit of carnage via Gadgetopia. The comments and responses being slung back and forth regarding a previous post on Kuri5hin are appalling. The link was ranked second on Google searches.
The original Kuro5hin post summed up went something like:
Natalee Holloway [a missing high school student from Alabama] is just one person, why don’t we worry about every single person that disappears. [naturally ethnicity was brought up].”
Weblog authors obviously exercise their Freedom of Speech and readers obviously exercise their right to express their feelings. If there is a grey area between what is morally wrong or right to post, do you think that weblog authors should be obligated to practice some discretion?
