Tired of receiving unsolicited credit card offers in the mail? Did you know you can use postage paid envelopes to mail up to 70 lbs of household junk back to the sender? Attach their postage paid envelope to a brick (or similar heavy object) and mail their junk back to them at their expense.

as of feb 2005, it is actually a 5 pond limit now :)

you should check out my site.. friends and have been doing this for a long time with both heavy objects as well as artwork. any thing that might get a grin out of a minimum wager in the mail rooms.

the usps has all of their info documented online. you can still get away with more than 5 pounds if you work the system.. such as dropping something off in the oversized package bin at the USPS so that they cannot deny the package directly.

friends in the postal service have confirmed that all of these objects are mailed provided you have the correct postage and provided there are no “harmful objects”… people interested in doing this should recognize that choosing your items and words wisely is key due to the un”patriot”ic act
