The main element of the Batsuit is a modified, advanced infantry armor system called the Nomax Survival Suit. Like many pieces of the Batsuit, the Nomax Suit was developed by the Applied Science Division of Wayne Enterprises.

So has anyone seen this new ‘Batman Begins’ movie? How come the Batsuit looks so lame and the Batmobile so futuristic? Shouldn’t the suit be made out of something like Lycra since it is the first part of the series? Check the history of Batman.
