IE and tabbed browsing – FINALLY

Technically the new IE tabs aren’t actually hard coded into the browser. You have to download the latest MSN toolbar to get the “Smart Tabs” feature. As an added bonus, Microsoft is proclaiming that a single tab crashing will not crash the whole browser. Riiight.

Update: After downloading the latest MSN toolbar I have to admit I’m a little disappointed. The installer does not offer the option for disabling the desktop search. MS should make a standalone installer for the IE browser toolbar.
