Two Laramie [WY] men face obscenity charges for erecting (no pun intended) a snow sculpture April 21 in their yard that resembled a phallus.
The defense: The state obscenity statute was “being selectively enforced,” and the sculpture could be protected under the First Amendment. And the attorney for the defendant also compared the snow person to a sculpture.
