It’s now official Apple released the Power Mac G5
But then again, we knew that yesterday.
An interesting side note: Apple seems to have dropped support for DVD-R all together, and only supporting the DVD+R on the writable site. However Apple still supports -RW.
UPDATE: Thanks are due to Adam for this tidbit – Apple is not dropping support for the DVD-R. They’ve simply added support for the DVD+R DL. The drive can still write to DVD-R, DVD+R. DVD-RW, and DVD+RW. Just thought you should know.
