Nanban and Tamil Nesan reported that a 20-year-old girl in a village in Uttar Pradesh, India, was shaven bald, undressed and made to go round the village on a donkey as punishment for allegedly killing a five-year-old boy. The dailies reported that the village court had passed the sentence for the alleged offence.
Imagine convicts elsewhere getting off with nothing else but naked donkey rides.
