Communist Mario?

To anyone raised in the 80’s, few names have such impact as the Super Mario Brothers do. We played their video games, watched their cartoon show, etc… But was he a Communist? This read is good for a laugh.

    HAHAHAHA!
    best line in the article:
” While Mario is supposedly fighting against a tyrannical Despot, we can see how expendable the people become when they hinder Mario’s bloodthirsty pursuit for power.”

    wow this is weird

I totally thought out this idea about making a website about the similarties as a joke, I posted details on how they were similar on neowin’s forums

I never got around to doing it though

Even though they most likely thought of it themselves, I’m gonna say they jacked my idea

this is the funniest thing i have ever read. but it makes a lot of sense. only the japanese could make a childhood hero and evil communist leader!!!!!!!!!!111

Okay, so people see what they want to see, when reality is slightly different.

That is not a peace sign on the flag, that is a skull. Hence the pixels show that it is not a round circle, and that the spacing inbetween the gaps are not the same, as they are in a peace sign.

OR, instead of Mario being communist from wearing red, he is actually wearing the colors represented by the country he is supposedly comming from, Italy.

The Italian flag is green, white, and red. Hence, Maria is red and white, Luigi is green and white.

Communism? If you want to believe that ok.

THIS IDEA OF MARIO BEING COMMUNIST REALLY PISSES ME OFF!!!!!!! How can a pixilated man look like Stalin? The programmers are Japanese right? THEN THEY WERE ON OUR FUCKING SIDE!!!!!! I love the Mario series, and the flag and red are surly not enough to brainwash someone into being Communist. That’s like saying the Beatles were Commies.
