EDIT: See comment for my feelings of the FCC

Well you are welcome to your opinion, but the FCC had not been doing its job for years and years. You can’t just do anything you want over the public airwaves…cable/satellite is different. If you don’t like it, get your content online where there is much less regulation (same with premium cable/satellite).

The thing with Jackson/Timberlake was a disgrace. Don’t be mad at the FCC – be mad at Jackson & Timberlake, for they woke up a sleeping giant…the FCC.

Agreed – The FCC was created to guard the public. They are given a trust that they will preserve the airwaves which are PUBLIC property, and I grant them any authority they want – as long as they don’t mess with digital TV providers and satellite providers. I concur with you, actually. If you want colorful content, that my not be considered for public consumption by all means subscribe to alternative services.

As long as the FCC continues on the path they are on, I feel we are in great shape. Guard the public, but if I want to pay to hear dissenting opinions, allow me to do that without regulation. VoIP, Satellite, and most digital communications are fair game – That is VERY liberal if you ask me.
