A man who racked up $1000 a day on phone sex calls has been bailed out by the telecommunications industry watchdog.
The man complained to the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman after receiving the massive bill for phone sex and other pay-per-minute calls.
Claiming he was a depressive who was in the middle of a manic episode, the man said he had an “obsessive” personality with no control of his actions at the time.
