Every president since Roosevelt has done this under the “human interest” umbrella on radio & TV. Don’t let your dislike of Republicans in general and Bush in particular cramp your holiday spirit.

The dog came off as the most intelligent and dignified actor. To have the US President’s cabinet talking to a dog on international TV was pretty humiliating. Even if it was Christmas.
