Irish rockstar Bono brought traffic to a standstill at the heart of New York on Monday, blasting out songs from U2′s latest album as the band cruised down Broadway on a flatbed truck.

i think U2 is in serious danger of overexposure. i remember when they used to be so subversive and hip. now they’re just *everywhere*. if i open my box of tooty fruity pops and bono pops out singing his latest track from “how to dismantle an atomic bomb” it’s seriously going to harsh my mellow.
