Text ‘Kerry’ To 777 Or Text ‘Bush’ To 666
Zogby has released the results of their first-ever national text message poll. The Rock The Vote Mobile political poll, conducted on mobile phones from October 27 through October 30, surveyed 6,039 likely voters from amongst Rock the Vote Mobile’s 120,000-subscriber base.
John Kerry leads George Bush 55% to 40% amongst 18-29 year olds, a number Zogby found remarkably similar to sentiments reported by 18-29 year olds in the polling organization’s more traditional daily tracking polls.
Zogby International intends to further leverage text message polling in response to concerns that traditional polling does not properly capture young, mobile phone-reliant voters.
