S. Carolina police officer uses taser on Grandma

The Rock Hill Police Department is investigating why an officer used an electric stun gun on a 75-year-old woman who refused to leave a nursing home where she had gone to visit an ailing friend. The woman, Margaret Kimbrell, said she suffered bruises on her leg and face after she was knocked to the floor by the force of the weapon, called a Taser.

The woman had arthritis and recently broke 6 ribs in a simple fall. What kind of pansy-ass officer needs to pull out a tazer in response to that? I smell a lawsuit.. Do you? Come on a taser on Grandma… totally uncalled for.

Thanks, derek… nice to know someone cares. With the exception of News 8, our own media outlets in Rochester (4 other local tv stations, plus newspapers, and radio stations) are ignoring the story. It’s more important to have front page news about an officer who was suspended for shooting a dog. The tazering officer, by the by and from my understanding, is still on duty. Guess I know where our priorities are in this town, eh? Hey, feel free to move anything I submit to where ever suits you. -L.

Just in: The lawyer for the two women who have filed claims against the out-of-control cop in East Rochester has, Christine Agola, has sent a message through a 3rd party to me that she is grateful for the interest in the case by any media, and is willing to make a statement to any who contact her. AND… that cop is, as of last night, STILL ON DUTY!

Anyway, anyone IN THE MEDIA interested in contacting her for a statement (others, please do not contact her just to talk to her, it’s unfair to her and to her clients, and will make me look like doopy) can reach her through her internet link here:
