Mouth-to-snort CPR saves dog

Marshall, a Labrador retriever, is none the worse for wear after surviving a house fire — with the help of two firefighters who performed CPR. New Cumberland firefighter Jason Pooler gave Marshall mouth-to-snout resuscitation while Lemoyne firefighter Kenneth Mose pushed on the dog’s chest to pump the heart. Now I don’t know about anyone else thats taken CPR classes, but the mouth-to-snort technique was not something that was covered. Yuck. I can’t even imagine what it would feel like to stick a wet dog nose in my mouth. Ehh.. CPR classes really need to cover all the bases for Lassie’s sake.

    well i have a dog and if i had to do cpr on her i would stop and think befor i do it. i gotten cpr my self and i thanked the person that save me they are my hero due to there aed and cpr im still here you bet i would do the same for my pet
