freeiPods.com Trick

Looks like freeipods.com isn’t a scam after all, but it also looks like they’re using the Apple Store as the source of the iPods. Sooo.. the folks at Gratis have the power to engrave a nice little freeiPods.com to the back of the iPods. Once again, evidence that if something is too good to be true, it is. Maybe some people got their iPods without an engraving before Gratis started doing this.

it’s still annoying to see people beg for referrals from other people. oh well.. i guess somethings in life are free.

yes, but this one has a catch. would you want an ipod with “freeipods.com” on it? hmm how about one from uneasysilence without a nasty forced engraving? or maybe you can choose your own.. as it’s free to engrave i think. =)

  • derek

i think i’d opt fot an uneasysilence ipod =p

It’s a free iPod! I mean if you hate the back so much you can use it an external HDD and leave it on the desk. I wouldn’t mind getting a free iPod with freeipods.com on the back cos hey, it’s free!! I would use the service if it was available outside the US.

But of course, I would love and UES iPod :P

  • derek

yeh i would rather have a UES ipod.. i wouldn’t care if dan engraved UES on the back either.. =p

i want to win a free ipod from uneasysilence.

holy shit, is all you can do bitch?
You just get a freeipod, it is fully functional, brand new, and it cost you anywhere from NOTHING to 2$

    FREE FUCKING IPOD!!
FUCK THE ENGRAVING!! IT WAS FREE!!

If you seriously dont want your brand new free iPod because it has an engraving from the people who were so kindly enough to let you have it, totally free of charge, then send it to me, I will make good use of it.

They’re doing this to prevent scammers from making a dozen of these accounts (which would be as easy as paying people with different addresses $20 apiece just to use their name and address in getting one, which some would agree to) and selling the iPods on eBay… hell, I even saw a tool that monitored your accounts in realtime floating around a while back.

They want to keep a good rep with people, and with the companies that pay them bounties for the referrals.

This offer’s legit, it’s all over the web, and within about 3 weeks I’ll be holding my own iPod as proof.

Those who would not accept a $300 gift from a company because it has the company name on the back are pretty dumb.
