Schoolboys play soccer with WWII grenade

Two school boys escaped injury and death while playing an innocent little game of soccer with a WWII unexploded granade. The two children found the grenade in the woods near Myrmansk Russia.

“I knew how their game of football would end – explosively. They were lucky.”

This story is another example of the dangers unexploded munitions can cause… But yeah. Those two where lucky.
